Job Summary
We are seeking motivated Florida-registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our team at our newly built, state-of-the-art mail order pharmacy — a modern facility with employee-friendly amenities.
This is a 100% mail order, closed-door pharmacy: no walk-in patients, no retail counter, no front-end. You'll work in a high-volume production environment supported by automated dispensing technology, where accuracy, throughput, and consistent workflow discipline drive everything we do. There's no register, no drive-thru, and no waiting-room pressure — just clean, organized, well-supported work in a purpose-built facility.
We're looking for people who take pride in getting details right, keep a steady pace, and want to grow with an operation that's scaling.
What makes this role different
- No customer-facing counter, no cash register, no retail merchandising
- Modern automation and equipment instead of manual counting all day
- Predictable shifts in a climate-controlled, purpose-built facility
- Clear metrics and real opportunity to advance as we grow
- A team environment where process improvement ideas actually get implemented
Responsibilities
- Enter and process prescription orders accurately in our pharmacy management system under pharmacist supervision.
- Fill, label, and prepare prescriptions using automated dispensing equipment and manual fill processes.
- Stage completed orders for pharmacist final verification.
- Package, sort, and ship completed orders, including generating shipping labels and preparing cold-chain and controlled-substance shipments per protocol.
- Receive, stock, and rotate inventory; monitor stock levels, expiration dates, and storage conditions.
- Load, monitor, and perform routine cleaning and troubleshooting on automation equipment.
- Assist with insurance and third-party claim processing, rejections, and prior authorization follow-up.
- Support prescriber and contact-center requests by phone, fax, and secure messaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, compliant work area and follow all standard operating procedures.
- Escalate any discrepancy, damage, or quality concern to a pharmacist immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with the Florida Board of Pharmacy
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working to accuracy and productivity standards
- Basic computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- PTCB (CPhT) certification
- Experience in mail order, central fill, closed-door, LTC, or high-volume retail pharmacy
- Experience with pharmacy automation equipment
