The short version
We're a small, fast-growing local vacation rental company, and we need someone to help hold down the fort. This is a do-a-bit-of-everything role. Laundry is the anchor: keeping our linens and towels turning so our homes are always guest-ready. But here's the honest part. If you're good and efficient at laundry, you'll have gaps between loads, and we don't want someone who sits in those gaps. We want someone who fills them.
When we step out (which happens a lot), you're the one keeping the shop running: answering the phone, taking bookings, greeting guests, staging the ebikes out front, rinsing down golf carts, and generally keeping things moving. No two days look the same, and we like it that way.
What you'll actually do
Laundry (your anchor, every day):
- Run commercial washers and dryers and keep linens and towels turning
- Sort by property, treat stains and spots, fold and stage clean linens
- Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and stocked on supplies
Front of house and guest services (between loads, and whenever the shop is yours):
- Answer the phone, take bookings, answer guest questions
- Greet guests/walk-ins, hand off vehicle and activity rentals
- Stage and rinse and deliver golf carts and ebikes.
- Hold down the fort: keep the shop presentable and running
Who we're looking for
- Someone who'd rather be busy than bored and can't sit still
- Comfortable bouncing between hands-on work and talking to guests
- Reliable and takes ownership. When we're out, the shop is yours
- Friendly and presentable. Some days you're the face of the company
- Comfortable on a computer. You'll be taking bookings and answering messages, so you need to navigate our booking system, email, and phone apps without hand-holding
- No laundry experience needed. We'll train you. Attitude matters more than your resume.
