We are searching for a person with medical administrative experience that has a passion for providing exceptional customer service, exquisite attention to detail and can perform numerous administrative assignments. The ideal candidate embodies a positive and warm disposition, is competent and efficient with a knack for thinking on their feet, adaptable to changing priorities and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Greets and welcomes guests and patients with radical hospitality, checking in patients in a quick and efficient manner.
- Coordinates scheduling of services for our integrative programs for multiple providers.
- Reschedule patients, as needed, per provider recommendations and patient requests.
- Communicates with providers and patients to inform of any delays in scheduling.
- Provides concierge level of care with warmth, professionalism, conscientiousness and depth of information
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Collects patient payment responsibly and accurately prepares daily reporting or payment reconciliation as needed
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Manage projects independently with consistency and reliability through completion, to include tracking and reporting.
- Supports projects for new initiatives, and is proficient in google suite.
- Takes and ensures inventory is accurate, noting deficiencies and adjustments based on office and operational needs.
- Identifies mistakes and creates new strategies/approaches to prevent future errors.
- Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
- Contributes to a positive work environment, even under pressure
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering questions;
- Supports the Administrative and Admissions Department by answering phones, responding to emails and other related duties.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business, or Communications preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience working in a medical office or healthcare facility with a high level of customer service interaction
- Knowledge and experience with standard office machines, filing systems/EMR, and operating a multi-line telephone
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in person, over the phone, and in writing
- Admissions experience is desirable--the ability to explain our patient services and philosophy of treatment to patients in a warm and engaging manner
- Proficiency in Google Docs and MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
