VRO LLC is hiring a part-time courier to hand-deliver applications to the Virginia Department of Health Office of Vital Records (8701 Park Central Drive, Richmond) and return certified birth and death certificates to our customers.
What you'll do
- Print applications we send each morning (supplies reimbursed) and receive original authorization documents from us by overnight mail when required
- Submit applications at the walk-in counter (open from 7 AM, no appointment) and wait for same-day issuance
- Photograph/scan each certificate, print a pre-paid shipping label on sticker paper we supply, and drop packages at USPS or FedEx
- Log completions in our web portal
Who we're looking for
- Live in or near Richmond
- Reliable car, valid VA driver's license, clean record
- Professional appearance and comfortable interacting with government office staff
- Careful with paperwork - you'll be handling signed legal authorization documents
- Comfortable with a smartphone camera and basic email
- Weekday availability, 7 AM - 4 PM
- Can pass a background check
Compensation
