VXOBEAUTY Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Nail Instructor to join our team! We are dedicated to providing top-tier education to aspiring nail technicians and estheticians. Responsibilities:
- Teach and guide students through the nail technician curriculum, ensuring they meet state licensure requirements.
- Demonstrate a variety of nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gels, and nail art.
- Provide hands-on instruction in both classroom and practical settings.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and teaching materials based on the curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Maintain a positive, professional learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the nail industry.
- Ensure that all safety and sanitation protocols are followed in the classroom and salon areas.
- Assist with student advising, including providing feedback on performance and professional growth.
- Support students in developing their client interaction skills and business acumen.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve the student learning experience.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nail Technician in [TEXAS], with a current license in good standing.
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Minimum of [2] years of professional experience as a nail technician.
- Strong knowledge of nail care, nail art, and the latest industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Patience and the ability to work with students at different skill levels.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering engaging lesson plans.
- Familiarity with sanitation and state board regulations.
