Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, skimming, vacuuming, and brushing to keep pools in optimal condition
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems to identify issues and execute repairs using hand tools and power tools
- Balance water chemistry by handling chemical agents safely to maintain proper pH levels, sanitizer levels, and overall water quality
- Conduct water treatment chemical handling with strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of inspections, repairs, chemical treatments, and maintenance activities
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and supplies between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pool conditions, maintenance procedures, and safety recommendations while providing excellent customer service
- Assist in the installation or upgrade of pool systems by applying mechanical knowledge of plumbing and electrical components
Qualifications

- Strong understanding of pool plumbing systems, mechanical components, and troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of water treatment chemicals and pool chemistry balancing methods
- Hands-on experience with pool cleaning equipment, repair tools, hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and safely in outdoor environments
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work including lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, bending, and working in various weather conditions
- Prior service technician experience or similar roles involving equipment repair and maintenance is advantageous
