Low Voltage Network Technician:

Type - [Contract to perm (1099)]
Responsibilities:
- Install and service low-voltage systems (security, CCTV, alarm, access, data/network, A/V)
- Requires a general understanding of installing cables to BICSI/TIA standards, terminating from MDFs/IDFs to user end
- Preparation, dressing, Installation, terminations, testing Fiber Cabling
- Read and document blueprints up to date, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical data
- Experienced & Certified with Fluke Copper & Fiber Tester
- Program security hardware/software and complete system setup
- Travel between job sites and communicating professionally with customers
- Have basic A/V hand tools: Ex: RJ45/RJ11 crimper, 110 punch down and cordless drill etc.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in the low voltage/security installation field
- Ability to communicate clearly in English; customer-friendly attitude, with a professional appearance
- Computer skills and familiarity with security industry software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Cisco switches/routers and Access Points a plus
- Operate scissor lift or cherry picker
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional overtime or Saturday work as needed
- Occasional travel may be required
Work location: Remote Southeast / Northeast Region
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
