Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative curricula tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental stages of children from toddlers to preschoolers.
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote safety, respect, and independence.
- Support children’s social-emotional well-being by applying child welfare best practices and early intervention techniques when needed.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians through clear communication about their child's progress, milestones, and areas for growth.
- Maintain detailed records of classroom activities, student progress, and lesson plans in compliance with childcare regulations and educational standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, special education, tutoring techniques, and inclusive classroom practices.
- Assist in creating an enriching environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and physical activity through teaching physical education and toddler care activities.
- Support the integration of diverse educational approaches such as Montessori principles to enhance learning outcomes.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or private schools.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and behavior management.
- Hands-on classroom experience managing young learners with different needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention support.
- Strong communication skills for effectively engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education environments.
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching physical education is advantageous.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and child welfare best practices is essential.

Requirements
- High school diploma
- CDA/Associates/Bachelors in ECE preferred
- 2 Years experience working with children
