Job description:
SOLO5 position. It entails starting a tour that lasts for 5 days, driving and on duty and taking your 10 hour reset in the sleeper cab, and ending the tour 5 days later at the same starting point.
What you’ll need working for Amazon Freight Partner:
- Drivers must be of 21 years of age or above for insurance purposes
- Have a valid Florida Class A Commercial Driving License (CDL)
- Drivers must have minimum of recent 1.5+ years of CDL - Class A driving experience
- Must successfully pass DOT Physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
- No current CDL suspension or revocation with clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & good DAC Report
- Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS
