Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer/Shipper to join our warehouse and production team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high standards of quality. This job will require a detail-oriented and meticulous approach to ensure that products are found, staged, or loaded. This position involves regular lifting, heavy lifting daily, and a lot of walking. Position is daylight shift Monday-Friday.
Duties
- Sort and stage finished product for shipment. Help to finish cleaning / packing when necessary.
- Receive daily packing lists. Identify and stage product. Pack product and load trucks.
- Operate fork lift when necessary to move product or stage packing materials.
- Inspect product for defects at all available opportunities. Address defects if possible and review with supervision.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping & receiving
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures including PPE use, manual handling techniques, and heavy lifting best practices
- Assist in production operations when picking/packing duties complete
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
