Evergreen Personal Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in a personal care home setting. Caregivers will provide assistance with daily living activities while ensuring residents are safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity and respect.
The ideal candidate is patient, caring, and committed to providing quality support to elderly residents and individuals requiring personal assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed
- Serve meals and assist residents with eating when necessary
- Monitor residents’ well-being and report changes in condition to supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain clean and organized resident rooms and common areas
- Assist with laundry and light housekeeping duties
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents
- Follow care plans, facility policies, and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous caregiver, personal care aide, or direct care experience preferred
- Compassionate and patient attitude
- Ability to work well with elderly and disabled residents
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and professional behavior
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Must pass background check and any required screenings
