What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, students, visitors, and/or local responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, document security-related concerns, and/or report suspicious behavior according to site procedures.

Prepare detailed incident and activity reports, relay important information to supervisors and/or campus contacts, and support day-to-day security-related operations across varying environments and conditions.
Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A guard card or license is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
