Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on electronic components and assemblies, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of through hole and surface mount technology, quality control processes, and the ability to work with various testing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform fundamental and repetitive tests of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies to determine if the assemblies meet specification.
- Perform tests and troubleshoots equipment by setting up and using standard laboratory equipment.
- Work from schematics, specifications, sketches, or other authorized information to determine performance requirements of equipment being tested.
- Repair, adjust, and calibrate equipment to bring it within requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
Skills
- Test Technician experience for resolvers, converters, Analog to Digital focus.
- Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
- Mechanical knowledge related to electronic components and assembly techniques.
- Experience with test automation tools and data collection methods.
- Excellent debugging skills for identifying issues in electronic systems.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting test results and making recommendations for improvements.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly and repair tasks.
