BARTENDER

Kosair Shrine Center is seeking a trustworthy, detail-oriented Bartender to join our nonprofit and member-based organization. This is a stable, long-term part-time position offering flexibility, meaningful work, and a positive environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Verify the customers’ ages
- Verify members
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
- Process payment
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift on TOAST system
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
WHAT YOU BRING
A minimum of two years of bartending, customer service or hospitality service. S.T.A.R. certification or TIPS certification preferred but will train the right candidate. Candidates should be comfortable with mixing and serving alcoholic beverages based on customer requests, great conversation and a positive attitude.
