A growing, family-owned company is seeking an experienced Irrigation Pump Systems Technician to join its team. Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (Overtime Available)

What You'll Do
- Install, service, and maintain large commercial and agricultural irrigation pump systems
- Diagnose and repair pump stations, motors, electrical controls, and irrigation equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and system testing
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate job documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience with irrigation pump system installation and service
- Strong knowledge of pump stations, motors, VFDs, electrical controls, and irrigation equipment
- Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-focused
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial or agricultural irrigation systems
- Knowledge of PLC programming and VFD controls
- Electrical troubleshooting and motor control experience
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
- EPA, electrical, or other trade certifications are beneficial but not required
