RN UM Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our team at Maple City Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Hornell, NY. As a leader in our facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring the highest quality of care and services to our residents. Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operations of the nursing units, including staff management, patient care, and facility operations
Develops and implements policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
Conducts performance evaluations, provides coaching and training, and addresses employee concerns
Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
Monitors and reports on unit productivity, quality metrics, and resident satisfaction
Participates in facility-wide quality improvement initiatives and committees
Demonstrates a commitment to excellence, innovation, and teamwork
Requirements:
Current New York State RN licensure
2+ years of experience in a nursing leadership role
Strong clinical and management skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
