Job Description
We are seeking a collaborative Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for our multidisciplinary team. This position is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric patients with speech, language, voice, communication, swallowing, feeding, and related disorders at the SJCH location.
The primary patient population served is pediatrics, with service delivery in inpatient acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
Hours as needed pending patient care needs.
Candidates with experience or interest in any of the following settings are encouraged to apply:
- Acute Care / Inpatient (e.g., NICU, PICU, cardiac, general pediatrics)
- Inpatient Rehabilitation (neurologic, developmental, or medically complex populations)
Additional Job Description
Education: Postgraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an ASHA accredited program. Work Experience: At least 1 year. Certification/Licensure: Current SC state licensure required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
