Driver must be comfortable working at accident scenes in traffic as well as with many different law enforcement agencies in performance of their duties. Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen. Have or be able to obtain a chauffeurs license as a minimum for a driver position. experience with trucks 1 ton rating or larger. Must be able to work in all weather conditions days or night Shifts. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Summary
As a Tow Truck Operator (Emergency Response), you will be essential in providing timely and efficient roadside assistance to customers in distress. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your core skills in driving and operating tow trucks will be vital for safely transporting vehicles. Your premium skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and conflict management will enhance your ability to address diverse situations effectively. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and load/unload operations will ensure a positive experience for clients during emergencies. Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks to respond to emergency situations, ensuring safe and efficient vehicle recovery.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Load and unload vehicles onto flatbed trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and managing conflicts professionally.
- Maintain a valid Chauffeurs Permit and ensure compliance with all driving regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate emergency response efforts effectively.
