Job Description:
As a Private Tutor for True Education, you will play a pivotal role in helping students K-12 excel in their English levels (GPA, SAT, AP). You will work closely with individual students to provide personalized tutoring sessions, focusing on enhancing their test-taking skills, understanding of subject matter, and overall academic confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tutoring sessions for students preparing for the Digital SAT, ACT, GPA, and AP exams.
- Assess the individual learning needs of each student and apply accordingly
- Cover key concepts, strategies, and test-taking techniques relevant to the school work or exams.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, fostering a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Stay updated on the latest changes and developments in education specifically in testing.
- Communicate effectively with center director regarding student progress and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (English, etc.).
- Proven experience as a tutor for Secondary English.
- Strong knowledge of the content and format of the DSAT and GPA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

Summer hours:
- Mon-Fri: 10am - 6:30pm
- Saturday: 9 am- 5:30 pm
Regular hours:
- Mon-Fri: 1pm - 9:00 pm
- Saturday: 9 am- 5:30 pm
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Frisco, TX : Reliably commute (Required)
