Shipping & Customer Service Coordinator

A leading fashion industry manufacturer is seeking a Shipping & Customer Service Coordinator to join our distribution center in La Mirada, California. This position will support daily shipping and receiving operations while providing customer service, processing orders, and coordinating shipments with customers and carriers.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, computer-savvy, and an effective communicator who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
- Manage customer TMS routing, including shipment follow-up and coordination.
- Schedule shipment pickups and deliveries with customers and carriers.
- Monitor shipments and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain shipping documents and Bills of Lading.
- Provide professional and responsive customer service regarding orders and shipments.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain shipping and order records.
- Process sales orders and ensure information is entered accurately.
- Prepare and process import/export documentation.
- Process and maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
- Communicate with internal departments, customers, carriers, and other business partners regarding shipment status and requirements.
- Assist with general office and administrative duties related to shipping and distribution.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, order processing, customer service, or distribution preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer and general office skills.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency is required.
- Ability to accurately enter and maintain data.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with TMS routing systems and/or import/export documentation is a plus.
- Fashion, apparel, manufacturing, or distribution industry experience is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
