Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring and wall tiles, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with durable, high-quality tile work that meets clients’ specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to determine tile layout and installation procedures.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or underlayments for optimal tile adhesion.
- Install various types of flooring including epoxy floors, vinyl floors, hardwood, carpet, and tile with precision and attention to detail.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure tiles according to project specifications.
- Perform floor refinishing, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and water damage restoration as needed to ensure seamless finishes.
- Follow building material installation safety compliance protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in remodeling projects by providing skilled craftsmanship in flooring installation, restoration work, and general building tasks.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on flooring or tile installation; familiarity with the restoration industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in flooring and building material installation.
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials safely and efficiently.
- Experience with epoxy floor installation, water damage restoration, floor care, and floor refinishing techniques.
- Knowledge of building installation safety standards and compliance requirements across construction sites.
- Skilled in caulking, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, remodeling projects, and fixture setup.
- Excellent communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating with team members on-site.
