Overview
We are seeking a dedicated. compassionate and experienced ABA Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will support a 10 year old, home schooled student with Autism, for 20-25 hours per week. Days and times are flexible. This role is particularly focused on assisting the student with activities of daily living, functional communication skills, social and play skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support for the student at home helping them access their home school curriculum.
- Support the student by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting lessons and programs as needed and directed by their Behavior Specialist Consultant.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages engagement and participation.
- Utilize a positive reinforcement program, throughout each session, as developed by the BSC.
- Monitor student progress, take data, and provide feedback to parents and BSC regarding engagement and task completion.
- Engage and collaborate with parents and BSC on a continuous basis in while implementing ABA programming.
Experience
- At least 1 year experience in working with students in a brick and mortar or virtual educational environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students.
Pay: $20.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Required)

- Working with individuals with developmental disabilities: 1 year (Required)
