R.C. Moore, Inc., a leading 3PL company involved in Trucking, Warehousing and Brokerage, is seeking a full-time Mid Atlantic Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at our Pittston, PA location. Established in 1956, we became 100% employee owned (ESOP)in 2022. We provide a national third-party logistics network to support our various food and beverage providers, and we are passionate about delivering exceptional, timely service to all customers. This is a salaried position starting at $75,000.00/year with up to 10k in performance-based bonuses.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Direct and oversee all Mid Atlantic operations for RCM.
- Direct and assign workflow to Fleet Manager and Drivers.
- Track and Trace drivers loads to ensure customer service expectations are being met.
- Research and resolve account issues relating to performance by RCM.
- Works directly with customers to ensure contractual metrics are met.
- Creates and deploys continuing education of the Fleet Manager’s processes and procedures.
- Maintains employee records and ensures compliance with RCM safety and compliance policies and procedures.
- Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates, and disciplines all Regional and Local Management.
- Works directly with the Safety and Compliance department to update and maintain hiring and DOT processes.
- Ensures the timely and accurate completion of payroll, employee pay, and client billing for each location within the region.
- Responsible for analyzing, implementing, and managing all aspects of the Logistics Operations Department.
- Deploys and assists with IT implementation, changes, and workflows.
- Prepares daily and weekly reports to the Director of Operations on overall performance and each account's satisfaction with our service.
- Comply with all safety regulations and report any hazards, injuries, or violations immediately.
- Attends and participates in employee meetings, training, and development.
- Conducts safety reviews with drivers
- Performs all other functions and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Operations.
- Performs metric analysis for Key Performance Indicators and makes strategic operational decisions based on trending data.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management or related field is required.
- 3 - 5 years of related industry experience is required.
- Minimum of 2 years prior management experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Transportation Management Software Experience required.
