Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador for our company, engaging with prospective clients and nurturing existing relationships through proactive communication. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Contact customers by phone, text, and email to help generate sales
- Take and enter customer orders accurately
- Follow up with customers about upcoming availability and seasonal products
- Help customers choose products that fit their needs
- Reach out to prospective customers and help develop new accounts
- Work closely with our production and shipping teams to make sure customers are taken care of
- Help prepare and send availability lists, pricing, and other sales information
- During slower sales and shipping periods, work alongside our greenhouse production crews and assist with day-to-day production that includes planting, spacing, order preparation, and general greenhouse work
- Must be willing to step outside of sales role and help were needed to keep things running smoothly.
Requirements
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable; fluency in English is required, with additional language skills considered a plus.
- Proven experience in sales or customer support roles, especially within call centers or outbound calling environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in data entry, analysis, and cash handling is advantageous.
- Ability to problem-solve customer issues effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Interested in building long-term relationships rather than simply making a sale.
- Willing to work outside the sales role when needed.
- Experience in sales, customer service, agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, or the greenhouse industry is a plus but not required.
