Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a pristine environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain health standards.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and maintenance of various flooring surfaces.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Handle manual lifting and outdoor work tasks safely while adhering to proper handling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, furniture, appliances, and fixtures with attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide outstanding customer service.
- Use cleaning equipment efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed.
- Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within designated schedules.
- Assist with housekeeping management duties when required, supporting team coordination and workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial roles with a focus on detailed housekeeping tasks.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment, and safety standards related to custodial work.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day.
- Exceptional customer service abilities with clear communication skills for client interaction.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior areas or outdoor cleaning tasks.
- Previous experience in housekeeper management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required.
