Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
- Monitor food quality during cooking to ensure it meets specifications.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking food supplies and reporting shortages.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, particularly grilling methods.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including grills, knives, and other cooking tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
