POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking to immediately fill a field service position to assist in the operations and maintenance of industrial water treatment systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge water treatment technology while serving diverse industrial clients across the Gulf South region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Industrial Water Treatment Operations
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of industrial water treatment systems
- Perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, and repair of water treatment equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance and system optimization procedures
- Monitor system performance and water quality parameters
- Document service activities and maintain accurate maintenance records
Field Service Duties
- Respond to service calls at various industrial facilities throughout the Gulf South
- Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with facility personnel to minimize operational disruptions
- Maintain inventory of parts and consumables for field repairs
Customer Relations & Safety
- Provide professional service to clients across multiple industrial sectors
- Communicate effectively with plant operators and facility management
- Follow all safety protocols, especially when working in industrial environments
- Comply with confined space entry procedures and safety requirements
- Maintain professional appearance and represent Sepratech positively
Administrative Tasks
- Complete detailed service reports and work orders
- Submit timely expense reports and time documentation
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient scheduling and routing
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
- OSHA Safety Card
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to pass a hair follicle drug screening
- Must be able to perform work in Confined Spaces
Work Requirements
- Must be willing to work Weekends and/or Holidays as needed
- Must be willing to Travel as needed throughout the Gulf South region
- Ability to work in various industrial settings and environments
- Physical capability to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to customer sites
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in industrial settings
- Background in water treatment, chemical processing, or related fields
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and systems
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in petrochemical, manufacturing, or industrial facilities
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in confined spaces as required
- Work in various industrial environments including chemical plants, refineries, and manufacturing facilities
- Physical demands include lifting, climbing, and working in different weather conditions
- May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Schedule & Travel
- Schedule: Day shift
- Job Type: Full-time
- Work Location: In person at various customer sites
- Weekend and holiday work as needed
- Travel throughout Gulf South service territory
- On-call responsibilities may be required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Pay
- Starting Pay: From $20.00-$30.00 per hour
- Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications
