Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our Chinese restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, accurately process orders and payments, and help create a welcoming dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude.
- Take dine-in, takeout, and phone orders accurately.
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Answer customer questions about the menu.
- Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
- Work with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and completed on time.
- Assist with light cleaning and other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus, but not required.
