Job Overview
Bright Future Home Buyers is looking for a dependable and hardworking Residential Construction Assistant to join our growing team. We buy, renovate, and sell residential homes throughout Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan. This position will assist our project managers and crews with various renovation and property maintenance tasks on residential properties.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up consistently, communicates well, and is willing to learn and grow with the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with residential renovation projects
- Demolition and site cleanup
- Loading and unloading materials
- Basic carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and landscaping assistance
- Trash and debris removal
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Pick up and deliver materials as needed
- Travel between multiple job sites throughout the day as needed
- Assist project managers and crew leaders with day-to-day tasks
- Follow company safety procedures and expectations
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior construction or general labor experience preferred but not required
- Reliable personal transportation is required, as you will be expected to travel between different project locations throughout the day
- Gas allowance provided
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
