Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam / Fusion 360 / Catia / Open Mind
- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T requirements
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding strategies
- Perform program prove-outs
- Troubleshoot and improve existing programs for cycle time reduction and quality
- Collaborate with machinists to ensure programs run smoothly on the shop floor
- Maintain organized program libraries and documentation
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of 5 axis CNC programming experience
- Proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam / Fusion 360 / Catia or Open Mind)
- Strong understanding of G-code and machining principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Experience with 5-axis machining
- Knowledge of various materials aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, plastics, etc.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
