We're seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing Building Automation team in Louisville. This is a unique opportunity to build expertise across multiple disciplines while working on innovative commercial building projects.
This role combines four key functions:
- Design (CAD)
- Engineering
- Controls Programming
- Project Management
Don't have experience in all four areas? That's okay. We're looking for candidates with experience in one or two of these disciplines and the desire to learn. We provide training and mentorship to help you develop the remaining skills.
- Design and engineer building automation and control systems
- Develop control system programming and graphics
- Manage system startup and commissioning activities
- Create and maintain project documentation and drawings
- Coordinate materials, subcontractors, and system integrations
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and customer communication
- Troubleshoot and optimize building control system performance
- Conduct customer training and project closeout activities
Experience in one or more of the following:
- CAD/design
- Engineering or building systems
- Controls programming
- Project management
Additional qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- HVAC, mechanical systems, or building controls experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Training and mentorship to expand your skill set
