The City of Farrell is currently seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Laborer position within the Public Works Department and Waste Water Treatment Plant.
This position involves performing manual labor tasks and other assigned duties as needed. Qualified candidates should possess strong physical abilities and experience operating a variety of equipment, including tractors, lawn mowers, small dump trucks, and snow removal equipment. The role requires physical labor, including heavy lifting.
The schedule for this position is flexible and includes weekends and holidays, as determined by the Director of Public Safety or their designee. Standard Public Works Department hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break.
Scheduling includes Saturday and Sunday coverage of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Also includes additional hours for plant coverage for vacations, holidays, or emergency call‑ins as needed.
Pay: $13.64 - $17.05 per hour
