Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of deli items including sandwiches, salads, and hot foods and pizza.
- Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance to meet their needs
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food handling and equipment cleaning
- Restock shelves, display cases, and ensure product freshness by monitoring expiration dates
- Assist with food safety protocols, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation practices
- Support the team with basic math for cash handling, pricing, and inventory management
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail grocery environments is preferred but not required; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a quick service or fast food setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math calculations, and cash handling accuracy

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
