Responsibilities:
- Provide preventative dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care
- Take necessary x-rays
- Record and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards according to OSHA and office policies
- Securely handle patient health information (PHI) according to HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Current license for Dental Hygienist license in the state of Tennessee
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
