ProEdge Painting Company is a residential and commercial painting company serving clients throughout Northern Vermont. We are growing our team and looking for experienced painters who care about quality, professionalism, and creating a great experience for both clients and crew members.
Our work includes interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, staining, touch-ups, and a variety of residential and commercial projects. We take pride in clean job sites, strong communication, and finished work that reflects attention to detail from start to finish.
Position Overview
We are hiring experienced Painter Crew Leads to help manage daily job site operations and support small painting crews. This position is ideal for someone who has strong hands-on painting experience, can guide a team, and is comfortable taking ownership of the work being completed each day.
The Crew Lead will help keep projects organized, maintain quality standards, communicate with team members, and make sure each job moves forward safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small crew of painters on residential and commercial job sites
- Help plan the daily workflow, assign tasks, and keep projects moving efficiently
- Review work throughout the day to make sure quality expectations are being met
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting, including scraping, sanding, patching, cleaning, caulking, taping, and masking
- Apply primer, paint, stain, and coatings to a variety of surfaces
- Set up and protect job sites before work begins
- Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with cleanup at the end of each day and at project completion
- Communicate respectfully with clients, coworkers, and supervisors
- Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and project expectations
- Lead by example through reliability, quality work, and a positive attitude

Qualifications
- Previous painting experience required
- Crew lead, foreman, or team leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of painting tools, materials, preparation methods, and application techniques
- Ability to complete high-quality prep and finish work
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable personal transportation required
