We’re looking for an energetic, dependable leader to join our team as a Shift Manager at Firehouse Subs.
This role is all about leading your crew during shifts, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering outstanding guest experiences — all while developing your leadership skills and working toward career growth within our brand.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support team members to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and brand standards are consistently met
- Train, motivate, and coach team members for peak performance
- Manage shift scheduling, task delegation, and labor control
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and care
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction
- Support sales initiatives, upselling, and community outreach
Position Details
- Workweek: 4–5 days per week (part-time or full-time hours)
- Typical Shift: 6–10 hours, flexible scheduling
- Job Type: Part-time or Full-Time | Hourly | Non-Exempt
- Reports To: Manager/Owner
What We’re Looking For
- Prior restaurant leadership experience (Shift Lead, Supervisor, or similar)
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation (SERV Safe preferred, or ability to obtain)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
