Qualifications:

Current State of Illinois Paraprofessional Certificate or Substitute Teaching Certificate or Professional Educators License registered in Will County/Region 56

Associates Degree or higher; or 60 hours of college coursework; or ACT Work Keys; or ETC ParaPro Test
OR
-
Current State of Illinois Paraprofessional Approval

High School Diploma

Job Description:

Assist students across school settings (classroom, lunch, recess, restroom) if necessary

Frequent walking, standing, and sitting

Monitor student behavior
-
Leaves notes for the regular paraprofessional at the end of the teaching day

Communicate in a friendly and positive manner towards parents, students, and administrators
-
Protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
-
Ensure the safety of students at all times
