We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to provide high-level support to our Account Managers and take full responsibility for essential client accounting tasks. This role is perfect for someone ready to move beyond routine bookkeeping into a more analytical, client-focused capacity, with a path to grow into a full Account Manager position.
Overview
This role serves as a key step between foundational bookkeeping and full client account management. The Senior Bookkeeper will manage daily accounting activities while also contributing to month-end closing, financial reporting, and overall client support.
In addition, this position works closely with Account Managers, offering exposure to complex client structures and advanced financial workflows.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience in a CPA firm or multi-client environment preferred
- Strong working knowledge of: QuickBooks Online & Desktop, Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher)
- Experience with Bill.com is a plus

Key Responsibilities
Client Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients: accounts payable & accounts receivable, transaction coding and data entry (including bank feeds)
- Reconcile: bank and investment accounts, credit cards, and loan accounts
- Process payroll for client entities and households
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and supporting documentation
Month-End & Reporting
- Assist with and prepare: month-end close processes, financial statements and supporting schedules
- Post journal entries and assist with account analysis
- Identify and resolve discrepancies
Tax & Compliance Support
- Coordinate with tax team by: providing financial reports, documentation, and assisting with adjusting journal entries
- Prepare or assist with: payroll tax filings, sales tax filings, and other compliance-related reporting
Client & Team Support
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers on client accounts
- Communicate with clients on routine matters (as needed)
- Support onboarding new clients and setting up accounting systems
- Assist with ad hoc financial and reporting requests
Details
- Full time, permanent position - Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
- Work is being performed in our Woodland Hills office; 1-2 days WFH possible after 90 days.
