Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance work required in the business, including keeping the machinery & equipment running well and managing any needed building maintenance. The individual uses various hand and power tools to perform the job and should have thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical tasks, including 120/240/480 volt single and 3-phase repairs and installations, & lock-out/tag-out procedures. The individual must have good hand-eye coordination, physically be able to perform lifting and climb ladder on a frequent basis and demonstrate skill in the use of hand tools, forklift and other factory equipment. They should be experienced with maintaining mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic machines as well as CNC machines (e.g., lathe, brake press)
The maintenance technician must be able to work independently and know when to ask for assistance. The individual updates and maintains the company’s performance maintenance (PM) schedule across all plant equipment based on each machine’s recommended PM cycle. This includes written documentation, outreach (as appropriate to third party vendors), and trouble-shooting. A successful maintenance technician will minimize any production downtime and outside vendor service calls due to equipment failures.
Experience and Education
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 6+ years of related work experience &/or training in maintenance technician role, in a manufacturing environment
- Both Electrical and Mechanical expertise is important
- OSHA experience a plus
Pay: $30.00 - $33.75 per hour

- Machine Preventive Maintenance (PM): 4 years (Preferred)
