Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with exceptional phone etiquette and customer service problem-solving skills.
- Oversee hotel security procedures, including monitoring CCTV surveillance and responding promptly to any emergency situations or guest concerns following hotel emergency procedures.
- Maintain multi-line phone systems and handle guest requests or complaints efficiently while providing personalized guest relations.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure seamless communication with daytime staff.
- Assist with hospitality reservation systems updates, room assignments, and special guest requests to enhance overall guest experience.
- Support guest services by offering multilingual or bilingual assistance when needed, fostering inclusive and welcoming interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or equivalent hotel reservation software.
- Strong knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and customer service standards.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and multi-line phone system handling; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
- Previous resort experience or familiarity with hospitality reservation systems is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision.
