Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of club facilities, including floors, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Conduct routine custodial duties such as trash removal, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Execute floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine flooring conditions.
- Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain a safe environment by following proper cleaning protocols and adhering to safety guidelines during all custodial activities.
- Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed, ensuring thoroughness and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize cleaning schedules and respond promptly to special requests or urgent cleaning needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and equipment use.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments preferred; residential painting or facilities maintenance skills are a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
