Position: Talent Acquisition Manager / Recruiter
Location: Houston/Bellaire,Texas

That’s why we’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager / Recruiter to help us find and retain the top talent needed to keep our multistate operations running smoothly during both everyday projects and large-scale emergency responses. While the position is based in Houston, Texas the areas we service include Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, the Carolinas, Georgia, Ohio, Missouri and other states as work demand requires.
Position Summary: The Talent Acquisition Manager will be a full-time position and responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring high-quality candidates across the wide variety of roles it takes to make us successful.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy Development:
- Design and implement effective talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce needs.
- Develop and manage recruitment plans that address both immediate and long-term hiring requirements.
Workforce Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management and department heads to forecast hiring needs and identify talent gaps.
- Create actionable plans to address talent shortages and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Sourcing Candidates:
- Utilize diverse sourcing methods including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals to attract high-quality candidates.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future hiring needs.
o Positions to be filled range from office personnel to field personnel in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, the Carolinas, Missouri and other states as work demand requires.
Job Posting and Advertisement:
- Craft compelling job descriptions and advertisements that accurately reflect job requirements and attract suitable candidates.
- Manage job postings across various platforms to maximize reach and visibility.
Candidate Screening and Selection:
- Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidate qualifications against job requirements.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate with hiring managers to select top candidates.
Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain clear communication and provide timely feedback to candidates.
Partnership with Managers:
- Work closely with managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on job specifications and candidate profiles.
- Offer expertise on recruitment best practices and assist in refining job requirements and interview processes.
Brand Promotion:
- Enhance the company’s employer brand through effective messaging, recruitment marketing, and participation in industry events.
- Promote the organization’s values and culture to attract top talent and position the company as an employer of choice.
Recruitment Marketing:
- Develop and execute recruitment marketing campaigns to increase visibility and attract qualified candidates.
- Utilize social media, content marketing, and other tools to strengthen the company’s recruitment efforts.
Recruitment Metrics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire.
- Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities, performance, and outcomes to senior management.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and adjust practices accordingly.
Onboarding Coordination:
- Collaborate with HR and onboarding teams to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Support the development and execution of effective onboarding programs to integrate new employees successfully.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in construction, restoration, or emergency services.
- Proven ability to recruit both field employees and corporate professionals.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, especially in fast-paced or time-sensitive situations.
- Self-starter who thrives in an evolving and unpredictable environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in urgent or high-pressure environments is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation – Salery Range based on experience and other variables $65,000.00 – $80,000.00
