Position Overview
As an RBT, you will provide individualized, in-home ABA services to children and families in the Spartanburg, Greer, & Greenville SC areas. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will help clients develop meaningful skills, increase independence, and reduce behaviors that may interfere with learning and daily life.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and community settings as appropriate
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA
- Collect accurate and timely data on client progress and behavior
- Support clients in developing communication, social, play, daily living, and adaptive skills
- Use evidence-based ABA strategies and interventions
- Build positive, respectful relationships with clients and their families
- Communicate effectively with BCBAs, caregivers, and other members of the treatment team
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in all interactions
- Help create a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment for clients
Qualifications
- Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), or willingness to obtain certification (We provide training for those seeking certification!)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working with children (preferred)
- Experience in ABA or working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients' homes
- Dependable, punctual, patient, and compassionate
- Comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and receive feedback
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
