About the Role
As a key member of our kitchen team, you will uphold our commitment to quality and artistry at every step — from sourcing the freshest ingredients to delivering an exceptional guest experience at our intimate sushi bar.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily setup and prep to the highest standards of quality and cleanliness
- Collaborate on fish and ingredient ordering to ensure freshness and availability
- Rigorously inspect the quality and freshness of all incoming ingredients
- Craft each dish with precision, creativity, and consistency to deliver a memorable dining experience
- Contribute to a positive, professional kitchen culture in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Hands-on sushi experience is required; formal culinary training is a plus
- Mastery of traditional Japanese knife skills, fish fabrication, and rice preparation
- Strong knowledge of contemporary sushi styles and plating techniques
- Ability to work with speed and efficiency without sacrificing quality
- Genuine passion for Japanese cuisine and continuous culinary growth
- Self-motivated, consistent, and reliable under pressure
