Mobile Field Service Operator / Technician Job Posting

Carbon Capture and Reclaiming Services Ltd. is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Mobile Field Service Operator / Technician for customer sites. In this hands-on role, you will travel to industrial locations to help set up, operate, monitor, maintain, and demobilize mobile vacuum distillation equipment used for amine and glycol reclamation. This position is well suited to a mechanically inclined technician or operator who enjoys field work, problem solving, travel, and being part of a small team delivering practical environmental solutions for customers.
Field Operations and Technical Duties
· Assist with the setup, Start-up operation, shutdown, and demobilization of mobile vacuum distillation units and related field equipment
· Perform basic checks, inspections, and leak checks to support safe and reliable equipment operation
· Monitor gauges, levels, temperatures, pressures, pumps, valves, and process conditions during operation
· Complete routine maintenance and basic mechanical tasks on pumps, hoses, fittings, piping, condensers, and related equipment
· Support safe handling, transfer, and processing of amine and glycol solutions in accordance with site procedures
· Collect samples, record readings, and complete field documentation accurately and on time
· Identify equipment issues, communicate concerns promptly, and assist with troubleshooting under the direction of senior team members
· Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with customer site requirements and CCRS safety expectations
Safety, Customer Service, and Teamwork
· Travel to customer sites to support equipment setup, operation, maintenance, shutdown, and demobilization
· Follow site-specific health, safety, and environmental procedures, including permit requirements, PPE use, and safe work practices
· Take part in daily job hazard analysis and assist with implementing hazard mitigations
· Work respectfully with customers, site personnel, supervisors, and other CCRS team members
· Prepare clear daily notes, service records, time entries, and parts or materials information as required
Qualifications
· Technical diploma, trade certification, operator certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in an industrial, mechanical, process, oil and gas, environmental services, or field service environment
· Previous experience as a field operator, service technician, plant operator, equipment operator, millwright helper, mechanic helper, or similar hands-on role is an asset
· Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with pumps, hoses, valves, fittings, piping, skids, hand tools, and basic maintenance tasks
· Ability to read gauges, follow operating procedures, record data accurately, and communicate changes in equipment or process conditions
· Safety-minded, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a small field crew
· Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude while working on client sites
· Willing and able to travel to customer locations, work flexible shifts, and support field assignments that may include remote sites
· A CDL to transport the mobile process trailer is an asset, but not required

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
