JOB The Town of Breckenridge Community Development Department is seeking a dedicated and customer service-oriented individual for the position of
Planner I or II. Planners I or II perform complex and diverse administrative, technical, analytical and professional work. These roles work primarily in current planning and some work in long range planning, with a reasonable degree of independent action and judgment. The Planner I or II will perform development application reviews, policy development, special projects, related administrative tasks, code enforcement, public assistance, and various research assignments. The incumbent will also prepare and presents staff reports, ordinances, recommendations, plans, and the results of special studies.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Typically Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with some evening meetings (primarily on Tuesdays), or other times/schedules as required to meet organizational needs.
SALARY RANGES:
Planner I:
Hiring Pay Range: $2,440 - $2,899.81 bi-weekly, or $63,440 - $75,395 if annualized.
Full Pay Range: $2,440 - $3,359.62 bi-weekly, or $63,440 - $87,350 if annualized.
Planner II:
Hiring Pay Range: $2,780 - $3,274.62 bi-weekly, or $72,280 - $85,140 if annualized.
Full Pay Range: $2,780 - $3,769.23 bi-weekly, or $72,280 - $98,000 if annualized.
