CDL-A Intermodal and Drayage Driver Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Minimum of two years of recent, verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential—TWIC card required
- Intermodal, container, port, rail, or drayage experience strongly preferred
- Ability to safely enter and operate within ports, rail yards, terminals, and customer facilities
- Knowledge of container inspections, chassis procedures, and securement requirements preferred
- Ability to comply with DOT, FMCSA, port, rail-yard, and customer safety requirements
