Responsibilities
- Process customer orders efficiently using warehouse management systems and ERP software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Enter data precisely into inventory management software and track order statuses from picking to shipping.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for order picking, packing, and staging to meet delivery deadlines.
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including load & unload operations using forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels and update stock records to maintain optimal stock availability for e-commerce and wholesale orders.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to arrange shipping logistics that comply with trade regulations and international trade requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to order status, shipping details, or product availability promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or order processing within a distribution environment.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, packaging procedures, and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order quantities.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment preferred.
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail; familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is advantageous.
