Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during events and banquets. This position requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, and decor.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with the preparation of food items as needed, including coffee service and other beverages.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any requests or concerns promptly.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the event space during and after service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in the breakdown of events, including cleaning up and resetting banquet areas for future use.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety practices, and culinary skills is a plus.
- Experience in bartending or catering can enhance your candidacy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
