Stone & Marble Installer
Position Summary
The Stone & Marble Installer is responsible for the safe delivery, installation, repair, and final fitting of natural and engineered stone products, including countertops, vanities, fireplaces, wall panels, and other custom stone applications. The ideal candidate is experienced in handling granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, porcelain, and other stone materials while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and unload stone materials safely and efficiently.
- Install countertops, vanities, tub surrounds, fireplaces, wall cladding, and other custom stone products according to shop drawings and specifications.
- Perform field modifications, seam work, polishing, and edge finishing as needed.
- Diagnose and complete stone repairs, including seam repairs, chip repairs, crack repairs, polishing, and adjustments to existing installations.
- Verify field conditions and ensure all installations fit properly before final installation.
- Install sinks, faucets, cooktops, and other accessories as required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and project managers.
- Report any job site issues or concerns promptly to management.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience installing and repairing natural or engineered stone required.
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand English to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Ability to read shop drawings and installation layouts.
- Experience with granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, porcelain, and solid surface materials.
- Ability to perform repairs, including chip repair, seam repair, polishing, and other field service work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to safely handle heavy stone materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
